Last night, we were honored that the Boston Business Journal recognized Seeding Labs’ founder & CEO Nina Dudnik with an “Innovation All-Star” award! Nina was honored for “catalyzing the innovation economy in the world’s developing countries because talent is everywhere, but resources are not.” Thank you to the Boston Business Journal and congratulations to the fellow honorees!

If you had $3 billion dollars to change the world, how would you spend it? A few weeks ago, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg announced they were investing $3 billion towards curing all diseases within a century. What struck me most about this announcement was that the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s first funding will go towards a Biohub bringing together researchers from the greater Bay Area. Really? These are already among the most well-funded and well-connected scientists in the world. I just had to speak up. Nina Dudnik, Seeding Labs’ founder and CEO, is among 15 scientists honored by New England Biolabs (NEB) with a Passion in Science award. Nina is the recipient of a Humanitarian Duty Award in recognition of her work “breaking down socio-economic borders within the scientific workforce by providing high-quality lab equipment to scientists in developing countries.” The NEB Passion in Science awards acknowledge scientists for inspirational and innovative work that transcends the boundaries of pure science and has profound impact on other fields, including the arts, humanitarian service, environmental stewardship, and science mentorship.
