You Can Be an Instrument of Change
Thermo Fisher Scientific has partnered with Seeding Labs to offer you a special opportunity: trade up your Applied Biosystems™ Thermal Cycler and give back to global science!
When you trade up your Applied Biosystems™ Veriti™, SimpliAmp™, or MiniAmp™ Thermal Cycler for an Applied Biosystems™ VeritiPro™ Thermal Cycler, your legacy instrument will be donated to an Instrumental Access scientist worldwide.
"We are excited to take our partnership with Seeding Labs to the next level with a new thermal cycler trade-in program that will run throughout 2021," says Thermo Fisher's Adam Taich, Vice President and General Manager, Molecular Biology. "When our customers are ready for the latest thermal cycler technology, they can trade in their current instrument for donation to Seeding Labs."

Dr. Enoch Achigan-Dako (second from right) discusses plant breeding and cultivation with his students in the experimental fields at the Université d’Abomey-Calavi in Benin. A thermal cycler will accelerate his research on climate-resilient crops, providing income for local farmers and combatting hunger!
Traded-in instruments will go to Instrumental Access scientists like Dr. Enoch Achigan-Dako, pictured above, who is using his expertise in native African food crops and breeding to identify scientific solutions that improve crop quality and yield.
"The PCR machine is an essential component of our research as molecular biologists," says Dr. Achigan-Dako, an associate professor in genetics & plant breeding at the Université d’Abomey-Calavi in Benin. "It will increase our capacity and improve the quality of seeds we provide to local farmers."

"Dr. Achigan-Dako's work, and the work of many others who will receive a needed thermal cycler, honors our mission of enabling scientists across the globe to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer."
