Volunteer with us
We can’t change the world without your help!
From administrative needs to screening Instrumental Access applicants, Seeding Labs always is looking for valued volunteers to join our mission.
Volunteers & Interns
We often have needs for volunteers and interns. We’d love to learn what expertise you can contribute to help advance global science.
Volunteer events are great opportunities for your staff to use their talents in a meaningful way to impact the education of thousands of students at our partner universities. You can compile user manuals, record videos with experimental tips and tricks, and provide other help that ensures the best use of the equipment donated to Seeding Labs. Knowledge of scientific equipment is helpful but not necessary! Have another idea on how you can contribute your time or talent? We’d love to hear it.
Needed: Instrumental Access application reviewers
Seeding Labs needs volunteers with expertise in science or engineering research, post-secondary STEM education, international development, or related fields to review applications for future cycles of Instrumental Access.
Serving as a reviewer gives you a window into the diversity of research projects, the successes, and the needs of global scientists and their students. You will have the chance to connect them with the equipment they need to continue pursuing their important work!
Reviewers do not need to be located in the US. We particularly encourage you to volunteer if you have a Doctoral degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field OR if you have first-hand experience in an LMIC university environment.
We invite you to volunteer as a reviewer if you:
- Are fluent in English.
- Have a strong interest in strengthening research capacity for scientists everywhere.
- Have in-depth knowledge of science or engineering research, post-secondary STEM education, international development, or a related field.
