TeleScience, the global collaborative library of lab knowledge curated by Seeding Labs, is expanding with the help of Cytiva, a global life sciences leader.
As part of its commitment to expanding access to science in developing countries, Cytiva has contributed videos sharing helpful tips and tricks for working with their AKTA line of protein purification systems and joined us as a sponsor of our TeleScience library.
Cytiva also continues to support Seeding Labs through their regular donations of surplus lab equipment. In all, they have helped strengthen the scientific infrastructure in departments on four continents.
“We are proud to enter this next phase of our collaboration with Seeding Labs,” said Sonia Glace, Senior Global Marketing Leader at Cytiva. “For us, equipment donation has always been about helping scientists to fulfill their dreams. That’s why it is part of our LifeCycle support. Contributing these videos for TeleScience will only further that goal. Nothing could be better than seeing scientists working to their full potential and changing lives in the process.”
The five new TeleScience videos from Cytiva range from an overview of the principles of chromatography to how-to videos specific to the AKTA line of protein purification systems. Scientists using the Telescience library will have access to Cytiva’s website and its free courses that take a deeper dive into protein purification.
“Cytiva’s new content for TeleScience is an exciting opportunity to share knowledge with a global audience,” said Melissa P. Wu, PhD, CEO of Seeding Labs. “Their contributions are important pieces that advance this global conversation among scientists everywhere. I deeply appreciate their commitment to our mission of empowering every scientist to change the world.”
With Cytiva’s contribution, the TeleScience platform now consists of 41 videos from 8 content producers. Interested in contributing to TeleScience? Learn more about how you can share your knowledge with the world here!
