UTech Jamaica Medical Technology students

The University of Technology, Jamaica was chosen for the latest cycle of Instrumental Access. The School of Pharmacy will use equipment to furnish new pharmacology and pharmaceutics laboratories. Here, medical technology students work on a practical with their lecturer.

Earlier this year, we announced the 16 university departments selected for the latest cycle of Instrumental Access. They span 11 countries in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. These outstanding universities will use Instrumental Access equipment to expand educational opportunities and further research in agriculture, nutrition, climate change, energy, water safety, drug discovery, pharmacy, infectious disease, cancer, and more!
